Reviews on TheBayWeekend come from people who actually went. We're opening reviews now and will show them on each listing as they come in.
How we handle reviews
- Real visits only. Reviewers confirm they visited and weren't paid or given anything.
- No suppression. We don't hide, reorder or edit reviews to make a business look better, and businesses can't pay to remove them.
- No fake reviews. Owners, employees and their families can't review their own business. We don't buy or write reviews.
- Moderation. We remove only spam, hate speech, threats, personal information and reviews not based on a real experience, and apply the same rules to positive and negative reviews.
- Business replies. Owners can respond publicly through our contact page.
